Paysera offers Google Pay to e-shops before Black Friday
"The integration of Google Pay with e-shops coincides with the annual peak shopping period before Christmas. This innovative solution enhances the user experience by allowing Android users to make purchases with minimal effort. The streamlined payment process eliminates the need for repeated card entry or online banking logins" – says Justina Šidlauskienė, Deputy CEO of Paysera.
In April, Paysera introduced Apple Pay as a payment option for e-merchants and their customers. Both Apple Pay and Google Pay are available in e-shops, which accept card payments.
According to J. Šidlauskienė, payment solutions like Google Pay and Apple Pay enhance buyer protection when shopping online.
"The data of a payment card linked to Google Pay is encrypted, making Google Pay payments secure, particularly during the Christmas shopping period when fraud incidents are more prevalent. This increased security measure instils greater confidence in online shopping" – states J. Šidlauskienė.
During January-September 2024, buyers made purchases worth more than 872 million euros in e-shops and other platforms Paysera provides services for.
Paysera helps process payments for more than 13,000 e-shops, offering a wide range of payment methods. These include payments through banks and fintech companies, Google Pay, Apple Pay, card payments, payments by instalments, and others.
Paysera employs approximately 200 employees in Lithuania, while the international Paysera group has a workforce of around 670 employees.
